What is So Very Varied?So Very Varied is a site devoted to my hobbies which are, well, very varied. My main two hobbies are cooking and crafting. But those are two big categories by themselves. Within them you have baking, sewing, knitting, grilling, woodwork, roasting, paper crafts, and so much more. Besides cooking and crafting, I also enjoy music, technology, politics, fashion, and movies. For now I'm keeping this site mainly devoted to cooking and crafts, but who knows, I may branch out in the future. The name lets me keep this site as varied as I like! Who is behind So Very Varied? - I have an amazing husband named Bobby.

- We have two cats (Nigel and Jessie) and two dogs (Caleb and Skylar).
- I work as a software engineer in the real world.
- I have 3 siblings.

- I'm quite handy with power tools.
- I'm' a self-taught sewer (though, I want to take classes to learn the real techniques).
- I'm addicted to the FoodNetwork, HGTV, and the DIY channel.
"Trashy Diva"? "Trashy Diva Living"?This site's original incarnation was called Trashy Diva Living. It was a name that came from a trip to New Orleans in 2005. I kept the name for 2 years, but never really thought it fit me well. It seemed like I was presenting myself on the web as a female and I always felt like I stole the name. So, in 2008, I made the switch to So Very Varied. I think it is represents my personality better. Website Information  .
