I've been thinking about it for about 6 months now, and I finally decided to do it. I've shaken off my old Trashy Diva persona and stepping into something new - So Very Varied!
Trashy Diva never felt right to me. For one, it was a female moniker. Also, I felt like I stole the name since it originated from a store in New Orleans. I wanted something that better represented me as a unique guy who loved dabbling in all types of things. So one night as I was falling asleep, it came to me. Well, the idea of somehow mixing "very" and "vary" came to me. I originally thought of doing something like "sovaery" where I combined the words. Luckily, my husband and friend Chris both suggested I do "So Very Varied". After thinking it over 2 days, I fell in love with it. And now here it is!I think it is a better representation of this site. My interests are, well, very varied. I enjoy baking, sewing, knitting, music, grilling, woodwork, technology, paper crafts, politics, books, and so much more. I'm constantly working on 3 or 4 projects at the same time. But for the purposes of this site, I'm going to concentrate on my cooking and crafts. You might see a little bit of my other interests pop up in the blog section. And who knows, maybe in the future I'll add a whole new section devoted to one of my other interests. I hope you like the new site. It's a bit of an upgrade from the old TDL. I upgraded to Joomla 1.5, I completely changed the look, I did a bit of back-end rearranging (though hopefully that is transparent to you). So enjoy the new site and remember to update your links and bookmarks
