Christmas has passed so I can finally start posting info on all the gifts I made this year.  I hope to be doing that over the next couple of weeks.  Just as a teaser, here is a list of some of things that will be coming:
  • Felt iPod cozies
  • Felt laptop cozies
  • A hand-tied quilt
  • Knitted scarf
  • Felt scarf and blanket
  • Cookbook page holders
  • Knitted poncho

Wow!  After typing out the list, it seems like a lot.  I had originally thought I hadn't done much at all.  Now I feel better.  I hope to do more next year.  I know now that I just need to start in August in order to get it all completed.

As for crafting gifts for me, I got pinking shears (how have I lived without them), tons of yarn, Amy Butler fabric from her Nigella series (absolutely beautiful!), and "Mr Funky's Super Crochet Wonderful" by Narumi Ogawa (time to learn how to crochet properly).  In the cooking category, I got two wonderful wooden spoons (I'm thinking of ditching the plastic and moving to wood), Giada's latest cookbook, and Nigella Lawson's latest cookbook (my first of hers, can't wait to try out the recipes).

I just finished doing what was meant to be a small craft room organization project, but it turned into a 4 hour ordeal.  I now have considerable more space with most items put away in boxes and properly labeled.  Hopefully I will be able to keep it this way.  I do love an organized craft room.
