I got a new iPod this week.  I thought it was time for an upgrade.  Everybody has an iPod, so I wanted to find a way to make mine special.  I decided it needed it's own, unique case.  And it needed to match my new messenger bag.

I lots of left over bits of fabric from my messenger bag project.  I decided I would use the colorful belt for constructing the iPod case.  I began by sewing 3 pieces together in a row using a zigzag stitch.  This created a single piece of "fabric".  I then sewed a piece of the pant material to create a lining.  I folded this completed piece over an itself and sewed up two sides leaving the top open.  Viola - all done!  Entire project only took about 15 minutes.  I love it!
