I've never worn an apron in the kitchen while cooking.  But when I saw an apron project in Denyse Schmidt's book, I knew I had to make it.

I love how this apron uses a quilt block as the design.  With the simple square block, the apron has a very modern feel.  The block also doubles as a pocket!  I love the colors and mix of pattern! 

The project was very easy and quick.  Once again, I love the projects in Denyse Schmidt's book.
