I love to do a "make your own pizza" night at home. It's fun to put out a selection of sauces and toppings for everyone to build their individual pizzas. Everyone has a great time putting theirs together and arguing over what makes a great pizza. For me, a great pizza starts with a great crust. A great crust must be crisp and delicious, but quick and easy to make. This recipe fits that perfectly.

My husband and I love to make nachos for dinner. For a long time I used the packets of seasoning for making the ground meat. But after awhile, I wanted something that wasn't full of preservatives and sodium, so I created this recipe.

A big bowl of chili is perfect for a chilly night....or any night really. Throw out that seasoning mix from the store that is full of chemicals you can't pronounce. Instead, create your own spice mix for a delicious pot of chili.

I love fried chicken with its crispy crust and moist chicken. But I hate the mess of cooking it. Plus, it isn't really healthy. So after digging through my cookbooks, I took ideas from multiple recipes and created my own alternative.

I had these pancakes in Oregon when I visited last year. I've been trying to recreate them since. I think I finally got it. They are so yummy! Light from the yogurt, a bite from the lemon, and the pop of a blueberry - just delicious :)

I developed the recipe for this pasta by combining ingredients and ideas from 3 of my favorite recipes. I wanted something light, healthy, full of veggies, and delicious. I think this really hit the mark! It has a light lemon flavor and is packed with veggies. Plus, the in-laws and hubby seemed to really love it. What more can you ask for :)

I have fallen in love with Reynold's Wrap Release Non-stick Foil . It is an amazing product! It is just like normal foil except nothing sticks to it. When I make my chicken wings, I always have a problem with the wings sticking to the foil. It's horrible because you lose those great crunchy pieces to the bottom of the pan. But with this new non-stick foil, the wings come off easily - crispy skin and all. And crispy wings make me happy :) The non-stick foil is also great for cookies and candy. Check this stuff out - I think you'll be hooked!

I've always made my waffles from Bisquick or some other mix. I would sometimes add some cinnamon and/or nutmeg to the batter to make them more gourmet. They turn out good, but nothing amazing. Everything changed this morning when I tried out a new recipe my sister sent me.

The husband wanted to grill chicken the other night, but I wasn't in the mood for one our regular marinades. I decided to create something a little different. I was in the mood for something Asian so I pulled out the Asian ingredients from our fridge and this is what I came up with. It is great in fried rice the next night!

I always get fried rice when we order out for Chinese food. It is one of my favorite parts of ordering out. After seeing an episode of Sara's Secrets, I decided that I could do it myself. And clean out the fridge in the process.
