I love that flavored martinis are so popular these days. I've never cared for a real martini since I don't like olives. But I love flavored martinis. And I like to make them at home when friends come over. This is a simple recipe for Apple Martinis that taste wonderful and go down smooth.
Ingredients
- 1 part apple juice (get the real stuff, not the concentrate)
- 1 part apple schnapps
- 1 part vodka
Directions
For a single martini, mix the ingredients in a shaker with ice and pour into a cold martini glass. To make a large batch, stir the ingredients in a pitcher and store in the freezer. The pitcher can sit in there all night long so you're apple martinis will always be perfectly cold. And don't forget to freeze those glasses as well!
Garnishing suggestions: Toss a hard apple candy (like a Jolly Rancher) into each glass. Peel and curl strips of apple peel to place on the rim of the glass.
